Our Dogs
Our dogs are very much a part of our lives, and each take turns traveling with us to ropings.  They also go everywhere we go on the ranch, whether it is running alongside while we are horse riding, or riding in the back of our Yamaha Rhino to check on the cattle.

Weight - 28lbs     Height - 15"
Red merle with green eyes.  As you can tell, she has a very playful, yet laid back personality.  Cimarron has a natural herding instinct, and loves to ride in the Rhino with me when I am pulling the roping dummy for my husband.

Weight - 32lbs.     Height - 16"
Champion sired, Cinnamon, is a red tri with copper trim and amber eyes.  She is very shy and reserved until she gets to know you, then she will love you to pieces!  Eager to please, Cinnamon is very aggressive when after cattle. After a hard day's work, she loves to take a dip in the pond.

"Shawgo"
D.O.B. August 18, 2008
Weight - 13lbs.    Height- 13"
Red tri with copper trim and hazel eyes.  Being our first Mini, Shawgo is very spoiled.  Because he was so little, we allowed him to stay in the house during the cold winter.  He now thinks he belongs there.  Although he loves to be with his people inside, he is a true Australian Shepherd outside.  Shawgo loves to help herd the roping steers into the arena and ride in the Yamaha Rhino to check cows.  He also travels with us to most of the ropings we attend.  He never fails to make many friends, both young and old.
Unfortunately, Shawgo does not meet breed standard because of his pricked ears and has been put into the Great American Stockdog category.
Shawgo is not used for breeding.

"Harley"
Standard Australian Shepherd
Born on Memorial Day in 1999, Harley is a beautiful blue merle with ice blue eyes.  He is one of my mom's puppies and I have had him since he was 8 weeks old.  Harley is very protective of his home and of his people.  Harley announces the arrival of every guest and trespasser that comes around.  He also has a great deal of herding instinct, however, he was at a great disadvantage in his younger years.  He and I lived in town prior to my marriage, so he wasn't around cows until he was about 4 or 5 years old.

Baxter, an International Champion, is our newest addition.  He is a beautiful red tri with one amber and one blue eye.  He has an excellent coat and is good boned.  Although a show dog, Baxter is still very much an Aussie.  He loves to tree squirrels and enjoys playing out in the pasture with the cattle.
Baxter has produced both blue eyed tris and double blue eyed tris in his past litters.
