About Us
I can say that I come by my love of dogs honestly.  My mom and sister, with the help of my father, when they can get him off of his Harley, have been raising dogs since the summer of 1993.   We have had Australian Shepherds off and on my entire life and I myself have owned a beautiful blue merle with ice blue eyes, named Harley,  for about 11 years.

I bought my husband a little male Miniature Australian in October of 2008, and shortly thereafter decided I wanted a female for myself having lost my Pekingese, Gidget, to old age the previous March.  I started looking, and so did my mom.  Unknowingly, we each found the perfect dog, and I ended up with two.

My husband works in the timber industry and I, in education.  Our son, Blaine,  is away at college,  In February of 2011, we had a new addition to our family, Kenley Annette.  When we aren't busy with our jobs and school, we spend our time in the backyard in the roping pen, trail riding, or going to ropings.

Enjoy the pictures and you will see that we are blessed.

In Memory of Harley, "The Old Man"
Harley was my husband's first rope horse.  Prior to our meeting, he had searched for months, maybe even longer to buy himself a roping horse.  After much looking, he came across Harley, and there his roping career began.

Somewhere thereafter, I began teaching at the little country school where he lived and he asked me to come ride horses with him.  Although I hadn't been on a horse in about 15 years, I agreed.  Harley was my mount, and I can honestly say that ride and the company that day will forever be one of my best and most cherished memories.  My husband jokes and tells people, "She came and rode my best horse and never left."

"The Old Man" brought us great joy and gave us many wonderful memories. I thank God for putting this magnificent animal in our lives, even if only for a few short years.  He  carried my husband to his first win roping, he helped me get back to my roots, and he a had hand in bringing us together.  Because after all, I married him for his horse!
